What's been up with the Bisnett's you ask? Well, I'll tell ya...just having fun everyday, all the time....and anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby sister G on July 21st:)
Eli is staying true to form for his one-year-old self and getting into whatever he can, Benjamin is slowly coming out of his shell and becoming a bit more social, and Jacob is well, being Jacob. Today, while Rob was weeding in the front yard Jacob came outside w/a cup full of trail mix to plant a "snack tree". I told him, "Jake, if chocolate chips grew on trees, I'd have had one long ago!"....he continued to dump the trail mix into the dirt and was disappointed later when it hadn't sprouted a tree complete w/nuts, raisins, choco chips, pb chips, and m&m's!
Eli is a papa magnet and repeatedly yells "Papa!" whenever my dad is near. He wants to make sure that his funny antics are as well noted by papa as his older, wiser bro's. Ben is also slowly cutting the Mema-cord and understanding what seeing someone later or tomorrow means. This should be a relief to her. You can have your bed back mom and dad!
Jacob is having a tougher time with time. He is adjusting to the lack of classroom structure that he had during his days at pre-K. He wants to know every night what the next day brings, and how long until Christmas? How long until my birthday? When is Giana getting here?
He will be at the Safety Town program every day next week and is really looking forward to it. Ah, summer. Hope y'all are enjoying yours! Enjoy the pics of the boys' latest...
